Gameov3r is a bit touchy about Gamesmaster. He thinks that it is he that should have been on TV and not The Gamesmaster. They used to be friends you see. Long before The Gamesmaster got his face on the TV, they regularly used to go down to the arcades on a Friday evening for hours of gaming. No matter what game they played Gameov3r used to thrash Gamesmaster. One Friday, after Gameov3r whooped Gamesmaster again at Street Fighter 2, Gamesmaster ran off into the night screaming something about M Bison and a teddy bear. The friendship came to an abrupt end after that and Gameov3r never saw him again. Until Gamesmaster appeared in his own videogame TV show that is. Gameov3r has never forgiven him and has never let anyone be his friend since. Ahhhh...

The Upper Crust

Today I came across this little tool that analyzes the readability level of blogs, then translates that into the "Level of Education" necessary to understand the writing. How it works out these things I have no idea but here's some results from popular gaming blogs:

Well, come on, from the extinction of the Pac-People due to a nut allergy, through gamer repetitive strain injuries and finishing up somewhere around choosing a game character to wed it is now official.... you have to be a GENIUS to understand our musings and here's our badge to prove it!



Actually I guess this shouldn't have come as such a surprise, I mean let's face it who else would be able to follow this stuff? We always knew you lot were some of the smartest gamers in town. Maybe Jack Thompson should pay us a visit and reconsider his opinions, "Do you need an IQ below room temp to be a gamer and post here?"

GAMEOV3R flicked the power button

GAMEOV3R stirred. He’d slept for too long he was grumpy. He prodded Lee, with his long pointy stick, kicked Matt on the shin then stroked the cat to sooth his mood. It was time to gather together and launch the GAMEOV3R Blog and Forum
This was going to be it! Time to say hello to gamers everywhere!

After a group hug, some singing, while GAMEOV3R gargled mouthwash, and a game of Bomberman LIVE they all gave thanks, briefly but respectfully, to the mighty Golden Joypad then the team were ready.

A warm welcome to you all. A lot of effort and time has gone into creating the GAMEOV3R Blog and Forum
and we hope you enjoy visiting regularly. There will be a lot going on over the next few weeks despite us being in our nappies.

Sharing a wealth of gaming knowledge resident GAMEOV3R writers Matt and Lee have been gamers for over 25 years though the years have not been kind. A lot of writing, more talking and many hours playing games says that they should be experts but GAMEOV3R knows different!
